Dr. John Schiefelbein
I grew up in Port Angeles, Washington, received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California in 1992 and from there went on to receive a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from Tufts University in Boston, MA in 1996. I met my wife, Megan, shortly before graduating from Loyola. She was born and raised in Leavenworth. When the opportunity to purchase our current practice came up, it was a dream come true and I began my practice in the summer of 1996. We truly appreciate being able to raise our daughters in Leavenworth and together we enjoy so much of what this amazing valley has to offer.
I have enhanced my dental skills through continuing education at the KOIS Institute in Seattle. This is a state-of-the art teaching center that is respected world-wide. I feel very fortunate to have such a facility so close to home and this has helped me shape my philosophy on dental care. This philosophy centers on striving to meet the dental needs of each patient with the best possible care we can provide.
I am a member of the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association and the North Central Washington Dental Society. In my spare time, I love to be exercising outdoors whether it be running, biking, hiking or skiing.
